Malibu LS 3.1L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 150,000 miles

The rear defroster failed to shut off resulting in overheating. This caused the rear windshield to shatter completely!! Had to run home to change pants!!!

Just wondering if this has:

#1 Happened to anyone else

#2 If there is a recall from Chevy

#3 If not the original owner, can I get rear windshield replacement costs reimbursed?
