problem #4

Malibu 3.1L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 132,000 miles

i called Chevy because i found a recall online for my car for the turn light instrument failure. so i gave them my vin number, they said that it was fixed already...well if it was fixed it would be working already. they didn't fix the problem. so i called an shop that just does electrical work on cars and he said only the dealer can fix that issue and its about $300. I have only owned the car for 2 weeks, this is ridiculous! the first week i own it i had to put a new power steering pump and water pump...and now i have shell out another $300 for a wiring issue "THEY" say that they fixed! I have always bought Chevy cars and trucks....where is the old fashion service and quality parts? STOP making cheap parts in other countries and bring the Jobs back home! i would rather pay more for the parts and support a USA job, then sell us cheap made in other country parts that will break as soon as the warranty runs out

Malibu LS 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

I bought a 2000 Chevy Malibu in February of 2003. The car was fine until about 2008. The blinkers would work sometimes and not at all at other times. Finally, in January of 2009, they went all the way out. I have taken it to several mechanics who cannot figure out the problem. Have can I get GM to fix this.

Malibu LS

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

The blinkers have a mind of their own. Sometimes they would go weeks without working. Then one day, I'd have blinkers again. They might work once or twice, or they might work for weeks on end, but you never knew!! They just worked whenever they felt like it.
