Malibu 3.2L V6

The car was not drivable.It was leaking gas just inside the front passenger wheel They had just replaced the manifold gasket prior to this so I'm thinking they may be connected. Maybe something wasn't done right. Any mechanics out there know if that could be the problem? Thanks.
