Well, first of all Malibu arent that bad of a car. Its just need to be taken care such as the basics; checking water or the oil, etc. The problem I have is my car was working fine yesterday and I think I had left the wipers on. The next day my car dont want turn on so we jump start the car for a few minutes and left Malibu on. When i turned off car it didnt want to turn on again so we tried again. This time i took it around the block but then the dash needle of the gas when down to E and the thermometer went down to C and my steering wheel got stiffed and couldnt move and as I stopped it died. My friend tried jumping it and it turned on again but battery dies again. What can it be? Is it the battery? Do i have to charge battery for at least 2 to 3hrs to see if it works completely or get a new battery. On the other hand can it be the alternator?

I have yet to try and get my car back to the mechanic I just had the car repaired on April 12,2011. Now its doing it all over again. The theft light is blinking. I have a child to get to school everyday and also have to pick her up. GM wake up and fix your passive theft device, it is causing headaches and breaking the bank to people who live on fixed incomes that can't afford to keep repairing the same problem. This should definitely be a recall on GM's part.
