Okay, so at first car dies out when travelling at low speed, slowing down, but would start back up again. 1st diagnosis fuel pump, 2nd diagnosis ignition module... ig was replaced as mechanic said no problem with fuel pressure and it ran well for a couple days, but still had starting problem. 3 days after repair car died and wouldn't restart. Found this site and tried 10 mins. and 5 seconds..didn't work. But did also notice that with the key in on position after a few minutes all dash lights would go out and heard my autolocks click off or on??.
I've had nothing but problems with this car! I've had the transmission rebuilt $1700, catalytic converter replaced (that was under warrantee) $0 thanks to an honest and sharp mechanic. I will never own an american made car again!!!

I have the same problems as everyone else. This usually happens after I started the car, no radio, no door controls, no AC panel control, no gauges reading, low battery light, no and no.
After searching other web site, I am convinced that is is the ignition switch. How? I use a water bottle (with water inside) and tap on the end of the key (when engine is running), and usually just one or two taps, everything turns back on. Before I know this, imagine when the car is hot, windows cannot be lowered, no fan/AC, it was like driving in a furnal. Stupid electrical engineers that GM has. I think the cost to have them replaced is 300~400 bucks. If change it yourseld, it would cost 150 or so just to buy the ignition with a new key, then you have to carry 2 keys, one for ignition, one for the door unless you think your remote will work forever.
