2001 Chevy Malibu, a complete piece of crap, I would never recommend this car to anyone. Everywhere I look I see problem after problem with this car. It starts with loss of power, than slippage, and boom, no reverse no neutral, trans is shot. It's so expensive to get the trans rebuilt, no car for work, lost time, money, love life, everything, because of this waste of metal.

Never ever buy this freaking year Malibu "YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!" Thanks I feel a little better, Mike.

Basically, The previous owner of the car had the transmission go out on him really early in the cars life. Just thought i would report it while I was adding the cars other problems to the site. Sounds like he just got super unlucky though.
