This just started on my way to work this morning so I'm not sure how big of a problem it will turn out to be. My daughter has a 2000 Malibu and she has to hit the hazard lights to make the signal lights work - I'm concerned that I will end up having this type of problem.

The turn signal clicking whenever, sometimes non-stop, is annoying at best. I see from the MANY complaints of Malibu owners that replacing the hazard light switch does not always fix it. I read on another site that it can be caused by worn contacts in the turn signal switch in the steering column. Sometimes there are little brass filings making an electrical connection. At least it a starting point, I didn't just want to start throwing parts at it. Sure hope this fixes it.
