Malibu LT V6

The control knob or switch that adjusts the interior lights came off. Sometimes I can see the read out showing temperature, trip miles, etc but it fades in and out. Can be very annoying at night since I cannot tell how fast I am going or what time it is. It appears to be a small switch that has broken. Any suggestions?
