I see someone else had problem with the sun visor breaking. My driver side visor broke. There are 2 problems here. First of all the mirror is always exposed and when you have the visor down you see yourself or there is glare. Plus, the visor light does not work anymore.

I did a comparison to the other visor and I agree it was a cheap, small plastic piece that held the cover on. Oh and Chevy can fix for $85.00.

The passenger sun visor cover broke off. No wonder - the little plastic point which holds it on is hardly a sixteenth of an inch in diameter. The dealer replaced it but how long with the new one last? Probably not long.
