Cruise control won't turn on occasionally. Seems like it does it worse on really hot days. It will eventually come back on. Anyone else had this problem?

Had cruise problems, you would be just cruisin along and the car would take off on its own or not work at all. had 4 months of in and out of the dealer until i finally left it there and said it was a safety issue and wanted a rental till it was fixed, had the rental for a week and a half. STILL LOVE MY CAR THOUGH

Im really angry with this one. I have to go out of town all the time and Hwy driving is very painful without cruise control.

At random times, cruise control will cut off and refuse to re-engage. Later, it'll be just fine.
It'll go months without issue, then stop working for several weeks sometimes.
BONUS: It doesn't seem to detect when I press the brakes, and there is no cancel button, so sometimes I have to slam on the brakes to turn off cruise control.
