Annoying to the point of never knowing if my car was locked/secure; startling when driving and the locks would "fire" up and down, strangely more often when it rained; estimated charge for repair/replace BCM $682 plus tax out of pocket, was too costly.

The interior power door locks simply don't work. They didn't work when I bought the car and they don't work now. Sometimes if you hold the button down on the passenger's side they'll work, and they still unlock when you shift into park. Otherwise, you're using the manual locks.

I don't really know what to complaint about. I had an aftermarket alarm system put in. Now it doesn't unlock my doors. I've noticed that the door switches in the car do not work at all. Now I'm beginning to think that it has to do with my door switches. I read somewhere that in 2005 there was a recall to replace The Power Door Lock Receiver. And as far as the aftermarket alarm. The installer went out of business. I can't find an installer for my type alarm. Dearlership doesn't know anything neither.

I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu classic 4 cylinder that the automatic door locks are not working and the horn beeps intermittently. Feel it is a relay switch or fuse. What do I need to replace and how much would it be? Part number? This just started in the past two weeks. Found our battery was bad so we replaced it but the door lock problems are still there. So I am assuming it is a switch or fuse.
