2007 malibu LT just shuts off at traffic intersections, idling anywhere, and most times refuses to start. Engine turns over but will not start. Then it starts up after a few minutes like there was never a problem and runs fine. There are no fault codes, no warnings, nothing to suggest anti-theft. What is causing this???!!! I've searched online and there are way too many unhappy people with same exact problem! Has there been a recall yet on this obvious defect? My 17 yr old daughter has to drive this car and it has quit on her in traffic several times and I am afraid it's going to happen to her and cause an accident. If she gets injured, or worse because Chevrolet refuses to recall and fix this defect there will be a lawsuit and a big one!
Update from Sep 7, 2013: 2007 Malibu shut off again after turning through busy intersection. Stopped traffic through all lanes until it finally started again. WTF???!!!
