The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the front passenger side seat belt does not accommodate an adult. There is a stitching on the seat belt that becomes stuck in the retractor. The dealer replaced the seat belt, however, the failure still persists. The manufacturer offered to install a seat belt extender. The powertrain was unknown. The current and failure mileages were 2,000. The consumer provided a repair invoice and the bill of sale for the vehicle. Updated 08/13/07
