Malibu V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 47,000 miles

ok gmc is going to cut me off this site but this is it. After all my need for help on my lemon car they will do nothing. yes its a 2007 but it has only 47,000 miles. yes but listen it never sat in years. I can't drive far. I missed the extended warranty by 3 months they say our family are not telling the truth. we bailed them out, now a tax cut to them, why because they don't care. I asked to talk to any higher up like ceo, no number e-mail nothing, back in 2015. they had a fix it on the transmissions, I called and they say no it is not for our car. guess what, it is our car and they still say no help at all. I'm not a free loader but this car had the alternator burn up, short in windows, had to have struts replaced. So please all you chevy buyers that had problems, please write to them and say what a non caring junk cars and untouchable higher ups that might have a heart.

Malibu LS

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

Within a few days, 3 times I couldn't get the lever to move out of the gear it was in. Twice it was in park, once it was in reverse (I had just backed out of a parking space). After some time, I was able to force it, I was really afraid I would break it I used so much force. The dealership couldn't find the problem, since it wasn't doing it when I went in, but another mechanic said he thought he knew what it was and fixed it. I don't know what it was, warranty covered it.
