This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
Has occurred three different times. Water one inch deep rear passenger floor board. Collected in 300 mile trip. Need swimming suit or boots to ride in back.

My car stinks. I have water on my rear passenger carpet. Dealer says the HVAC evaporator drain is clogged. Although I see on the internet it seems to be a common problem with several GM models, my dealer tells me Chevy won't cover the cost of the repair. I'm concerned about continued smell and MOLD. The service rep at the Chevy Dealer says its indoor/outdoor carpeting so I won't have a mold issue. Very frustrated that this problem is not being taken care of by Chevy.

Suddenly, this car had a major leak inside... a small river started pouring out of the map lights on the roof of the car. Dealership said it was condensation, but we are in a dry area and have no idea how that much water....er, condensation would accumulate other than a leak in the roof & snow melting. Dealership said that GM doesn't have a fix yet and they never removed the head liner to find where the water was coming from. There was a fair amount of water that poured out.... was still dripping water when I got home. Some sort of leak, but no one will find out where it's coming from

I am yet again disappointed with buying this car "brand new". I thought for sure by buying new off the show room with little to no miles, I wouldn't have all the issues that this car has. This car has been leaking water into the passenger floor board and so much has leaked that the water spread to the rear seating and soaked the back right rear seating floor carpeting. The chevy dealership I currently have it at, is at best, maybe knowledgeable? I do believe now they just are there to take more of your money. I don't know how it is you take a car in for it's milestone checkups and yet they don't catch any issues (such as this water damaged carpet and constant leak), and they dismissed the initial report of this problem as just normal from the a/c unit. Yet, they are "certified" ASE mechanics with all the latest technology to make sure the problem once reported, can be looked into and fixed. Nope, not the case. My car is currently in the dealership for repairs due to a recent car accident, so I don't know what the fix is for the a/c leak. I'm hoping to find out once the collision repairs are done. I also don't know the cost because they don't know how bad the problem could be.
