The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu hybrid. The contact stated that the passenger's side view mirror continuously became detached from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician was unable to determine what was causing the problem and stated that it needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 5,000 and the current mileage was 37,500. Updated 02/11/14 the mirror was replaced three times. Updated 02/11/14
