To whom it may concern my 2011 Malibu 2T VIN number 1G1ZD5E16BF188753 purchased on May 2011.The TRACTION SYSTEM failed while I was stopped in a drive through for several minutes. There was a thump and the brake pedal went to the floor. I called ON STAR to run diagnostics on the system when they said there was nothing wrong. I drove the few miles to work. I came out that afternoon and there was no problem showing on the dash. A couple of days later sitting in another drive through the same thing happened again the dash lights began to flash, the thump and the brake pedal went to the floor again, and this time the car moved forward almost hitting the car in front of me. I got an appointment at Asheville Chevy where they were to fix the problem. I explained what had happened. This was JULY 05, 2013 the said it was ready and when I asked what had been done they said they reset the code. I went to the service manager where he was not worried about this at all. I drove the car less than 10 miles were the brakes failed this time it did not stop until I was in oncoming traffic and a dodge truck “T†boned me the body has been repaired and GM wants to hock up to the so called black box. An added note the side airbag did not deploy and ON STAR never called to check if I was all right.
