The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the front headlights failed to illuminate without warning at start-up. The contact had taken the vehicle to a relative who was able to replace both headlights. Two months after the repair, the passenger-€™s side headlight failed to operate and had the headlight was replaced again by her relative. Despite the replacement of the headlight, the new headlight failed to operate as needed. The contact then purchased a third headlight and the headlight also failed to operate. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 155,000

The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the exterior driver side headlight intermittently failed without warning. The vehicle was taken to a collision shop where it was diagnosed that the wiring harness overheated and needed to be replaced. The headlamp was replaced, but the failure recurred. The contact stated that the failure was repaired approximately five times. The manufacturer and dealer were not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000. The VIN was not provided.

The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. While driving approximately 45 mph, the passenger side low beam head lamp failed. The contact drove the vehicle with the high beams activated. The following day, the contact noticed that the harness to the low beams was burned. The contact stated that this was the second time the harness burned, and the driver's side harness was replaced one time also. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (jim glover Chevrolet in tulsa, Oklahoma) the first time the failure occurred, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000.
