The headlights in my 2011 Chevy Malibu burn out every 4-5 months. This would not be horrible if I could replace them myself however in this car, the entire front end needs to be taken off to change a headlight so every time this happens (2-3x/year) I have to pay my mechanic over $100 for new headlights.

I just bought a used 2011 Malibu LS last month, everything seemed fine. Then I went and got gas, locked the car, came out, unlocked the car, fired it up and the radio locked. Then less than a week later, the passenger side low beam would go out. Then work a couple of days later, then not work again, this just went on for about a week. Today, I tore the nose off the car and replaced the headlight. I turned the headlight switch on and voila, everything worked! I reassembled the nose, fired up the engine and dammit, the light didn't work, either with the car on or off.
