We purchased the Malibu about a year ago. It has run great until recently. My son took the car from Ohio, to Florida, to NC, and back to Ohio. A two week trip. On the way back they noticed the engine would rev and it would shift hard when down shifting from 2nd to 1st. This mostly occurred when exiting the highway. We have not had a chance to take it in, but will soon. This should not be happening at 45,000 miles!! I've notice this issue has been posted to many websites.
