Without explanation or warning, my 2014 Malibu with <3k miles has a fuel injection failure. I turned on the car from parked & it barely rolled. If I floored the gas, it would go 5 mph. I had the car towed to my dealership, which said that they "couldn't duplicate the problem, come pick up the car:. I insisted that they keep driving until they duplicate the problem, since driving a car with unreliable fuel injection could be fatal. Imagine the gas fails next time when I'm entering the highway, & instead of going 60mph to enter traffic I am going 5 mph.

They treated me like garbage, continually pressured me to "pick up the car" though they had no explanation for the problem, and no repair. Totally unconcerned with my safety. I complained to GM corporate office, including the CEO's office, and got no assistance. They also pressured me to pick up the dangerously defective vehicle. I refused to drive it and they "buyback offer" they gave me was the same $$$ I'd have paid if I'd had a working vehicle.

Clearly GM/CHevy is only concerned with covering up this defect, not with consumer safety. They may have stolen $5k from me in that unfair buyback offer, but I'd rather pay it there than in hospital copays & insurance deductibles for the terrible accident that WILL happen to anyone driving that defective car. I pray for the poor soul they sell it to. The car appears to run fine, but this defect has not been fixed & can repeat at any time, without notice, resulting in death or serious injury.

A class action lawsuit is in order to teach this company a lesson. All they care about is $, not human lives.
