This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
My vehicle is losing power when going up hill and/ or turning corners. When going up hill you can definitely feel the strain of the vehicle trying to catch gear while the RPM is rising. Carmax says its definitely normal and they could send to the dealer which is 150.00 I don't have for them to inspect it. between this and this auto shut off I'm loosing my likes of Chevy cars.

I purchased 2015 Malibu, July 3 this year and have 1300 miles on it. I was driving on the highway at 55 mph and the car just turned off. I was able to get it to the shoulder, then wouldn't start. Shook for few seconds and then message came up engine power reduced. Got to dealer they have had it 3 days and say they replaced engine control module and asked if I had recently been driving in heavy rain storms. Little disappointment as I just drove this car right off the showroom floor 7 weeks ago, but I guess what I most concerned about, is this going to happen again?? I will be nervous to get it back, but my dealer has been great :(
Update from Aug 19, 2015: Picked up car today and it turned out to be engine control module which was replaced, lets hope this doesn't happen again, my dealer was very nice, by the way

I just bought this car on 5/14. Test drive was smooth, loved the vehicle and I drove it alone due to social distancing practices the dealer had. Checked this site and only found one complaint for what I experienced next so I figured I was safe. Carfax clean, one owner. Sold in March to dealer, fax shows it had a clean inspection on intake. I buy vehicle, drive it around the neighborhood later that night. Stop and start engages at a stop sign and the engine lurches a few times, comes back on. Stop and start feature no longer works and check engine light is on. I text the salesperson, he asked me to take it in. Next available slot is Monday afternoon. I bring it in and am assured whatever the issue is, it's taken care of, all free. I get a call yesterday that the rocker arm control valve is bad and the part has no ETA. I am told that I can pick up my car but "not drive it much" until then. It's still there.
This apparently is a wide spread issue.
I'd like potential car buyers to know this model and year vehicle is not a safe bet without warranty coverage or service coverage.
