The service airbag comes on intermittently and if it rains hard, its the passenger side and no one sits there and there rarely is anyone riding in my car. Chevrolet dealership charged me $162.87 diagnostic check and told me it was the passenger seat module at the cost of $904.00. WOW! I decided to do some research and found a lot of evidence that this has happened to a lot of 2015 Chevy Malibu's. So what next? There has to be some recourse and a way to get the manufacturer or GM to take care of this. I hope there is a resolution.

So my passenger seat airbag sensor in my Malibu keeps engaging. I'll have a phone charger laying on the seat and it engages and flashes the seat belt icon. Anyone else have this same issue?

We had the Car serviced at a dealer with tire rotation and oil change. 6 days later, the hub bearing went out and we took to the dealer and they said both hubs needed replacing and brakes, cost $1040.00. Drove away and 1 day later Service airbag light came on. Took back to dealer who charged us $120 to tell us that the steering wheel airbag needs replaced for $1140. This should be a SAFETY ISSUE and covered under full warranty. I've filed complaints with GM and several other places.
