Complete loss of engine power while on highway going at least 65mph. The warning came across my dashboard then the check engine light came on and then reduced to 5mph. I turned the car off for 15 minutes then back on, the warning was gone but engine light remained on. Took to have diagnostic, error code read P2138. No known recalls etc... The car is still under warranty but I'm having issues getting it into dealer for repair due to staffing issues!

Malibu LS 3.2L

Going down the highway at 60 MPH only to get this "reduced power" warning and car goes to 20 mph. GM needs to do something about this! I see so many reports on this issue. Called local GM dealer, his words... "humm, that sucks, be careful". What the hell? Seriously! How many people have to die because of this for them to do something about it?
