I have a clluncking sound in my 2006 Malibu Maxx when turning left and I finally got it in the shop. It has 82,000 miles and it comes out to be that I must replace the rack and pinion. The steering was very loose and front end was shaking, not safe at all...This is very dangerous and it's so true what some have written, is Chevrolet waiting for an accident to happen to have a re-call on this issue? The manufacturer needs to do something about this issue!!!
