So, the switch in the steering column went out. The bottom two lights did not light up when braking. I fixed it myself. The part was about $120, the part is the shape of a ring with a bunch of wires sticking out one side, in case you're wondering. To get it fixed most shops said between $304-$350. It's worth-while to fix yourself, but will take some time.
It'd be good to have on hand before you start:
Allen wrenches, metric.
A ring puller.
gear pull.
A fillips for screws under the wheel.
A flat-head to pry the plastic clips for the electrical parts.
A crane. Since you'll be upside down under your steering wheel for some time.
