This may not be completely relevant to original post, but DTC P0122 haunted me for months on my Canadian 2005 Chev Optra5 (sister car is Suzuki Reno / Forenza in USA), I would switch out sensors, the code would go out for a bit, then come back, I decided to get the transmission fluid changed at a reputable transmission garage, the mechanic said I also had a P1122 code. Anyway, since the tranny fluid was replaced the check engine light has stayed off, been 2 weeks. Worth doing anyway.

Here's a MANDATORY / NECESSARY fix for your P0122 and/or P1122 and P0342 DTC on Korean made cars. After replacing the TPS Throttle Position Sensor, you have to pull the TCM fuse with car key in ignition off position for 5 minutes, then replace TCM fuse, clear ECM codes, take a drive, leave in D gear only for 250 - 500 miles. Do not use the hold or do any sport shifting for 250-500 miles. Best to pull ECM fuse(s) too at same time for 5 minutes as ECM and TCM work together.
