Prizm 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 125,000 miles

This problem was due to excessive oil burn which ate up the catalytic converter and exhaust. The post o2 sensor in the cat failed first and that was $110 to just get that and you had to take out the pass seat to replace it which was a pain in the ass. Even though it is supposed to be stainless steel it was a bad circumstance. I feel like I was sold a piece of crap and lied too.

The catalytic converter failed at 102,000 miles. I've never had to replace this on a car.
