The vehicle was maneuvered to the side of the road and eventually the windshield wipers began to function after continuously turning the control mechanism forcefully. The dealer and manufacturer were notified and they informed the contact that the vehicle was ineligible for the recall repair due to the age of the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. I also contacted Chevrolet (800 222-1020) on June 10th 2010, but they also told me there was no recall in effect?
