This report is being submitted by sgt J passiglia of the independnece, mo police traffic safety unit. This vehicle was involved in a vehicular accident. The driver reported that as he pulled into a driveway the accelerator stuck causing him to lose control. He applied the brake but the truck would not stop. The vehicle struck a pedestrian. His injuries are very serious. Possible fatality. The driver was not impaired. The physical evidence was consistent with the driver's statement. Driver was going up hill on gravel road and shifted into 3rd gear, driver heard engine rev high. Let foot off the accelrator and vehicle did not stop. Applied brakes, rear wheel still spinning, causing driver to lose control of vehicle, and roll over 2-3 times.

Vehicle experiences hisitation/stalling which causes rough driving. Also, vehicle hesitates/stalls when foot is removed from accelerator.

Gas pedal stuck and brakes were hard to press when trying to slow down. This caused consumer to hit a tree. Also, airbags did not deploy, and drivers side seat belt did not properly restrain. It did not lock into position, causing consumer to sustain a head injury. Dealer has not been able to duplicate the problem.
