This is very annoying. The lights on the dash will go on and off at their own will.

The computer that monitors the ABS brake system on these trucks went bad and causes the ABS lights to stay on constantly. I am told that the ABS system no longer works on this vehicle. Among the many other problems with these trucks, this is just another one added to the GM legacy.

I've had and ABS and Brake light on for quite a while. It first started when i got the vehicle. The garage said it was the wheel bearings. So i had them replaced. then after a couple days the lights came back on. i had two more put on only to find out that the hoses had been cut and thats why the lights were on all the time. So now the lights come on after i drive for a while. When i park it and drive it later, the lights are off. and after i drive it a while the same thing happens, over and over and over again. HELP!!

I bought the truck used on 1/27/16, with 118000 miles on it. They guy that had it before me had the same issue with it ever since he bought it new. The ABS lights come on and go off without any reason. I don;t know if I should try to reset the dash or what. Any help?
