First the fuel gauge quit working on an intermittent basis. Then the truck started stalling out. This was the condition for several months. After research I checked the fuel pressure and determined that it was not getting the fuel needed when it would stall out.

Love the truck, hate the way it will just randomly stall. Driving through the city, or out on the highway. Driving along then out of the blue, no warning, it dies. Try to limp to the side of the road and not get hit. Wait, and wait (looking forward to it when the temp gets to minus 30 c.), about 15 minutes later it will start. Just don't try to start it too soon. Replace the throttle position sensor, still stalls. Have been told to replace the fuel pump, not convinced that would solve the problem though.

truck quit running while i was driving to work, barely coasted onto a side road. i thought i was out of gas because the gauge was already having problems but pushed it to a gas pump and still nothing. I got it home on a trailer and a few days later put a new fuel pump in. the truck ran great for about ten days now today i was in a parking lot and the truck died again.
