I was going to an acquaintance's home to help them install new range. It was raining that day and as I pulled up to their house and applied my brakes and the brake pedal would not go down at all. I tried pumping it but it did not react and I took out their garage door. I bought new brakes and installed them but it happened again. This time it was my garage door. A friend told me to unplug the ABS and I haven't had any more problems stopping but it feels like the rotors are warped. Installed new rotors and still feels like they are warped when applying the brakes!

After loading six ton of hay onto a Gooseneck trailer and while attempting to turn the vehicle around, the shaft inside the power steering pump broke. To look at the engine while running, you could not tell there was a problem with the pump. The result of the broken shaft was that the steering and the brakes both went out at the same time. I had to replace the power steering pump and the high pressure lines to the pump because the pump services both the power steering and power brakes. The vehicle was only being operated at about 3 - 5 MPH at the time of the incident. I could not turn the vehicle in any way and it was all I could do by applying all of my strength to engage the brake at this speed.

It was a good thing this happened at the farmer' field because if it would have happened while traveling the pass, I am sure I would not be here today to lodge this complaint. If the brakes and steering went out, I would have surely gone off the road and most likely have gone over one of the cliffs on the pass.

The brake peddle goes almost to the floor before it will stop you. The master has been replaced, bleed the brakes, new calipers on front and they still go almost to the floor and will not pump up at all.

Our complete rear brakes fell off of the axle and wrapped around the rear housing, nearly causing us to crash. Had to spend two days in a motel, waiting for the repairs. I would trade this piece of junk off if I could afford it. I still owe several thousand dollars to pay this thing off. I have a 1969 Ford pickup that I have never had any major repairs done, and she's still running and looking like new! the only truck I'll ever purchase again will be a ford.

Pads and disks were totally shot at 29k. The disks were rusted beyond belief. They looked like they came off a truck with 200k on it. Replaced with American Steel disks, my mechanic said Chevy uses parts from China. No problem now.
