4.3L engines all get leaky intakes. I had mine fixed as a condition of purchase. It is an extremely reliable bullet proof engine, but either buy it after the intake is fixed, or plan on resealing the intake at some point in your future. If you get a dealer to fix it for you like I did its a good idea to get a new fuel pressure regulator at the same time while they're in there, as they are not a trustworthy component either.
