THE DRIVERS SIDE SPEAKER WORKS PART OF THE TIME CD PLAYER QUIT WORKING,I THINK THIS TRUCK MAY BE A LEMON.
- Bill F., Sand Springs, Okla., US
Yes, it was under warranty but the Chevy Dealer I even purchased the truck from never repaired it right as it just failed one right after the other until the extended warranty I paid big bucks for expired and after even contacting Chevrolet Corp about the problem they even
ignored the situation. Chevy's are the best but their electronics suck egg big time and they do not adhere to their own warranties. Just for this I will never purchase another Chevy truck again.

I'm guessing at the time of occurrence and mileage, but the CD player actually has had this flaw since the early days. Quite often, when powering on the Radio/CD player, if there's a CD in the player, the display will show "Track 1" (for example) but will not play the CD until it's ejected and reinserted! The radio/CD computer is hung up... lousy design.

I'v already submitted how upset I am with my GM product.
- Sam H., Houston, TX, US
At first, it would just spit the CD back out, and you could just reinsert it and it would play it. Now I'm at the point where it clicks and cannot put anything in it. It's frustrating. The radio works fine, AM and FM, I don't have any issues with any part of that. Oh, but if I accidentally hit the eject button, it clicks LOUDLY for 30 seconds, it's super annoying.
