problem #5

Jan 012010

Silverado

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles

The clicking has to do with the heater/temp. setting.

Something is trying to move something in the heater/defroster door, I think.

If I move the heat setting a couple of notches above the coldest setting it stops.

Mine is on the drivers side setting.

I guess others could be on the passenger side setting.

problem #4

Jan 012009

Silverado 4.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

The noise is irritating to say the least. I comes from the dash and I have no idea of the cause. It doesn't seem to matter if A/C is on or not. Sure wish I could figure it out.

Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 5.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 62,000 miles

I suspect this may be associated with the A/C controls. Any idea of how to fix?
