problem #1

Silverado

  • Automatic transmission
  • 33,000 miles

Due to a backing incident it was learned the body panels of the pick up bed are plastic

The incident was the result of a car backing out of a parking spot and contacting my tail light which did not break. The contact caused a crack in fender that spread.

Had the fender been metal there would have been no damage. The contact was not hard enough to even damage the tail light lens.
