Just took it to the mechanic and he indicated that it may be the connector ($161) but also may be the sensor. He said this could affect the fuel mixture and it has been jerking (slightly) for a long time. almost like an engine miss. will see if this fixes that problem.

in 08 the service lite came on had it checked reported to be the fuel cap replaced same at a cost of $22.00 teck turned off lite, next day came back on went back checked again same answer replaced cap again. reset lite. week later lite came on been on ever since.chev house wants another $87.00 to check again!!!!! w
