The ABS sensor failed; abs kicking on inappropriatly when not braking. Seems the ABS system is a known problem with Chevy and they are opting to pull the fuse rather than fix it. I want it fixed! I want my ABS but shouldn't have to spend hundreds of dollars when it's a known faulty problem for this truck...WHERE'S THE RECALL??????

So i haul a 7000gvw trailer a lot and also a 27ft tow behind camper we went camping in Aug and starting feeling a strange thing with the brakes so i turned up the electric brake to assist more with braking but the prob was still there and that problem is
just before the truck comes to a complete stop the brakes seem to release like I'm on a patch of ice and slide for 5 to 15 feet but it doesn't do it every time and the abs is not i repeat NOT activating there is no clicking no pulsing of the pedal nothing just the feeling your not gonna stop kinda scary with a 7500lb camper behind you
so i talked to a friend that has a 2001 2500hd @ work and it was having the same thing happen so there was a recall on the speed sensors and had them replaced problem STOPPED i replaced both of mine to the sum of $110.00 my prob still there
my truck the dealer says per my vin there is no recall but i can bring it to them and they will evaluate it for my but the only thing they are saying is maybe low speed low voltage abs activation but that's not it
i took out my abs/brake fuse 60amp and the lights were on but the truck stops fine so i am looking for someone else with the same prob and a poss solution to the prob
