Shut off my truck and was hanging outside a friends house, got a call on my phone and realized my phone was still connected to Bluetooth on my truck so I went and looked. The radio didn’t shut off so I looked into the problem and tested each door making sure the sensors work so the radio will shut off when the door opens - but that didn’t work. I took it down to a local shop and they did some testing and found that the ignition switch went bad. Somewhere in the switch the gears broke (cheap plastic) and the part was only $40, but the labor was $160.
