Silverado 1500 4x4 LT Crew Cab 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 86,000 miles

When you pay $30000 for a truck and its not even 5 years old and has 86000 miles on it and not used commercially, you would not expect to have brake problems, alignment problems, wheel bearings needing replaced and continual air bag lights coming on. ALL of these problems are expensive to deal with and very annoying considering what you already pay out monthly in a loan. Its no wonder people are buying the competition!

Silverado Z 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 52,000 miles

VERY POOR DESIGN BY GM. HAD A 1992 WITH 155k AND NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM, EVER. I DO NOT OFF-ROAD, HIGHWAY DRIVING WITH MINIMAL TOWING. ABS SENSOR WENT FIRST THEN BOTH HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLIES HAD >1/4" PLAY AND HAD TO REPLACE BOTH SIDES ON FRONT. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OR THE PRICE OF THE REPLACMENT PARTS.
