After getting routine maintenance performed at the dealership where I bought the vehicle, I was told I needed a new camshaft and lifters. Apparently the lifters go "bad" and need to be replaced along with the camshaft. The way to tell (other than taking it in to have it looked at) is a slight ticking sound coming from the engine (the passenger side in my case). The dealership told me it was going to be $2300-2400 to have it replaced. I know for a fact there are several other people experiencing the same problem. COME ON GM, STEP UP!!!
