2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z-71 4x4 with 5.3 engine. Experiencing knocking during start up in the morning. It lasts around 3-5 minutes. Once engine warms up it stops. Understand that it could be bad lifters, but not sure. Overall it has been a good truck,

Silverado LTZ 4x4 Crew 5.3L 4cyl Mode

Upon first starting the engine in the morning and under heavy engine demand the engine "knocks" I have an appointment tomorrow with the dealer to investigate. I'll update the post upon there results.
