I bought my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 from a local dealership brand new. I don't use the truck often, thus the low mileage. I went to drive the truck yesterday, 2/17/2015, and the shift indicator didn't work, the ABS dash light came on, the speedometer/odometer doesn't work, the auto door locks will not open when put in Park, and than the check engine light came on. I was able to drive the truck, but couldn't tell which gear I was in.
I went to the dealership today, 2/18/2015, and they said it was not covered under warranty. He agreed it was probably the dash pack, and it would run at least $800.00 to fix.
Is there a number or email address to Chevrolet to get attention to this problem? I saw previous threads saying there was an extended warranty for the speedometer/odometer, but I think it was for 2004 Silverados. He said there is nothing out there for the 2008 Silverado.

I was able to drive the truck, but couldn't tell which gear I was in. It shifted very hard from first to second gear.
