I just had my 2011 Silverado in the shop for a brake check cause of a pulsation from the front an rear when I stepped on the brakes. The service tech said my rotors were pitted and could not be cut cause they would still have pits in them, and my rear drums were rusting and pitting and could not be cut, and wheel cylinders had to be replaced. So all in all, 2 new rotors and 2 new drums and 2 new wheel cylinders, new pads and new shoes and all the rear brake hardware on a truck with 49,000 miles. I drive my truck 90% of the time on the highway. This is my 4th Silverado, maybe its time for a change.
