While breaking in my new truck the traction control light came on as well as the stabilitrac. Reported as two separate issues. Third issue to be posted next related to engine. LIghts won't go off.

I bought my truck less than a week ago. I've been driving it around back roads to put the 500 miles recommended under 50 mph on the truck. Today, the stabilitrak and traction control lights came on as well as the service engine light. I tried turning off the vehicle and letting it sit for a few per the owner's manual and the problem did not go away. I used my ODB II reader to pull the codes and didn't see any for the traction control or stabilitrac, but found 4 others for the 8th cylinder misfiring. I guess that explains the severe shaking, particularly at a stop on the way home. So far, I'm not impressed.
