Silverado 1500 LS 4.3L V6

Standard tires manufactured by General had defective sidewalls at the seams. Mileage around 25,000 miles. Item not covered by GM. I was told to go to a tire store and ask for warranty from General Tire. Tire shop laughed at me. Said it was a GM issue.
