I have been a Chevy owner since 1999 when I purchased my first Suburban, I learned by having my vehicles serviced at the dealer was very good. I never had any real issues until I purchased my 2014 Chevy Silverado, brand new, on October 2014. My truck started having a loud tapping noise coming from the passenger side of my engine. Any services that needed to be completed on my truck, even oil changes, were completed by the dealer (Autonation of Pembroke Pines, FL). The noise starts from the first crank after sitting for a long period of time.

For example, when I start my truck in the morning to let it warm up, the loud noise can be heard. Based on my research, the chevy dealers, salespersons, and everyone associated with Chevy knew about this problem before I purchased this vehicle. The salesperson did not mention anything about this. Why are the dealers still able to sell these vehicles when there are known defects?

I shouldn't be having this problem with my vehicle. Why am I having this engine problem when I keep my truck service? This problem is really making me lose faith in Chevy vehicles. How can Chevy help me with this problem?
