The transmission failed and truck would not drive, I had it towed to a Chevy dealer. The problem I was told was a "blown servo & metal in the fluid". The fix was to install a Re manufactured transmission that cost $5,573. The new transmission has a 3 year/100k warranty.

I religiously keep the maintenance up to date as recommended. The transmission was flushed at the dealer at about 80,000 miles per the recommended maintenance schedule. This truck has never towed anything.

I can not believe that the transmission failed and stopped driving with not one sign or symptom that there was a problem. I inspect the trans fluid every oil change & the fluid still looked decent. I never had any issues or any noise hinting that a failure was coming. I was 2 hours from home when this nightmare happened. The truck seems to be driving great now!

It came back with the radio/backup cam not working. Diagnosing claims the screen is the problem. A new screen is on the way. Dealer wanted $1200 for a new radio/screen. I ordered 1 for $150 from a salvage yard.
