The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 equipped with capitol precision trac II tires, size: 245/65R17. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced severe vibration while being operated at 60 mph. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the tread had separated. The tire was not replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The dot number was unknown. The vehicle and tire failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
